Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 23, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Pinterest Strategy Lab, operated by Rai Suarmini in Indonesia ("Pinterest Strategy Lab," "I," "me," or "my"), collects, uses, stores, and shares personal information when you visit https://pinterest-strategy-lab.blogspot.com, request a free resource, subscribe to email communications, submit a form, send an email, post a blog comment, apply for services, or become a client.
This policy applies to the website and to information I process in connection with inquiries and client services. Third-party services linked from or embedded in the website have their own privacy practices.
1. Who Is Responsible for Your Information
Pinterest Strategy Lab is responsible for the personal information described in this policy, except where a third-party provider processes information under its own privacy policy.
Contact:
- Operator: Rai Suarmini, Pinterest Strategy Lab
- Location: Indonesia
- Email: raisuarmini.va@gmail.com
2. Information Collected
Information you provide
I may collect information you choose to provide, including:
- Your name and email address.
- Your email-subscription choices, consent status, signup source, confirmation status, and related timestamps when you request a free resource or subscribe to emails.
- Your business name, website, social media or Pinterest account links, audience, content, goals, current Pinterest situation, service interests, timeline, and other details you include in an inquiry or application.
- Email messages and other communications with me.
- If you become a client: contact details; proposals, contracts, invoices, and payment status; project instructions and approvals; brand and content assets; Pinterest or website information; account permissions; analytics or performance information; and other information reasonably needed to provide the agreed services.
- If you comment on a blog post: your comment, chosen display name, profile information or link, and any other information you choose to make public through Blogger.
Please do not submit passwords, authentication codes, full payment-card details, sensitive personal information, or confidential information through a website form, blog comment, or ordinary email. If account access is needed after you become a client, I will arrange an appropriate access method separately.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the website, Google and its services may automatically receive information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, ad interactions, timestamps, security and diagnostic data, and cookie or device identifiers.
This website uses Google Analytics 4 in addition to Blogger traffic statistics and Google AdSense measurement. Google Analytics may collect information about visits and interactions, including pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, referral source, session activity, and cookie or device identifiers. I use this information to understand how visitors use the website and to improve its content and navigation.
3. MailerLite, Lead Magnets, and Email Communications
The free-resource signup form on this website is provided by MailerLite, an email marketing and automation service. When you submit that form, MailerLite processes the information you provide, such as your name, email address, signup source, consent or confirmation status, and related timestamps, so I can manage the subscription and send the requested resource.
The signup form uses double opt-in. After submitting the form, you must confirm your email address through the confirmation message before the subscription is completed and the automated delivery process continues.
Requesting a free resource allows me to send the confirmation and delivery messages needed to provide that resource. If you separately choose to receive future Pinterest emails, I may also send educational content, website updates, service information, or occasional promotional messages that match the consent presented on the form. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in those emails or by contacting me.
MailerLite may use tracking technologies in emails, such as web beacons and tracked links, to provide information about delivery, opens, clicks, device or email-client type, IP address, and related engagement. I may use this reporting to troubleshoot delivery and understand whether the emails and resources are useful. Some email applications or privacy settings may limit or alter this tracking.
MailerLite processes subscriber information on my behalf and under its own Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.
4. Google Forms
The contact form and service application forms are embedded Google Forms. When you submit a form, the answers you provide are sent to and stored through Google services so I can review and respond to your inquiry or application.
Depending on the form settings and whether you choose to sign in, Google may also process information connected with your Google account, device, browser, security checks, cookies, and use of the form. You do not need to provide more information than the form requests, and submitting an inquiry does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Google processes information under its own Privacy Policy.
5. Blogger and Blog Comments
This website is hosted on Blogger, a Google service. Google uses information such as your IP address, user agent, performance data, and security data to provide the service, generate usage statistics, and detect or address abuse.
Comments are enabled on some blog posts. A comment you publish may be visible to anyone and may be indexed or shared outside this website. Do not include personal or confidential information in a public comment. Google/Blogger may process information needed to publish, authenticate, moderate, and protect the comment service.
6. Cookies, Analytics, Advertising, and Google AdSense
The website uses cookies and similar technologies provided by Google and other service providers for Blogger functionality, security, Google Analytics measurement, embedded Google Forms, embedded MailerLite forms, email delivery and engagement reporting, fraud prevention, and advertising.
Google AdSense is active on this website. Third-party vendors, including Google, may place or read cookies, use web beacons, collect IP addresses or other identifiers, and use information about your prior visits to this website or other websites to serve and measure ads. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to show ads that may be based on your interests, subject to your settings, consent choices, location, and applicable law.
Even when ads are not personalized, Google may still use cookies or similar technologies for purposes such as ad delivery, frequency capping, aggregated reporting, security, and fraud prevention.
For visitors in certain regions, Google or Blogger may display a cookie or consent message. You can also:
- Manage personalized advertising through Google My Ad Center.
- Opt out of some participating third-party vendors' personalized advertising through YourAdChoices.
- Block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Some website or embedded-form features may not work as intended if cookies are blocked.
For more information, see how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.
7. How Information Is Used
I use personal information to:
- Review inquiries and applications, assess whether a service is a suitable fit, and respond by email.
- Confirm email addresses, deliver requested free resources, manage subscriber preferences, and maintain records of consent or withdrawal.
- Send Pinterest education, website updates, service information, or promotional messages when you have chosen to receive them.
- Prepare proposals, enter into and administer client agreements, and provide Pinterest strategy, management, design, content, reporting, and related services.
- Communicate about projects, approvals, deadlines, support, invoices, and service changes.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and services.
- Understand website use, email delivery and engagement, and ad performance using aggregated or platform-provided reporting.
- Maintain business, accounting, tax, and legal records.
- Prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity, and establish or defend legal claims.
- Comply with applicable laws and valid legal requests.
Submitting a contact form or service application does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails. Email subscription occurs only through a dedicated signup process or another clear consent choice. I do not make decisions about service acceptance solely through automated processing.
8. Legal Bases for Processing
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, I rely on one or more of the following:
- Your consent, including where consent is required for non-essential cookies, email marketing, or another specific use of information. You may withdraw consent at any time, subject to applicable law.
- Steps you request, such as confirming your email address and sending a free resource you asked to receive.
- Steps requested before entering a contract, such as reviewing a service application or preparing a proposal.
- Performance of a contract, when information is needed to provide agreed client services.
- Legitimate interests, such as operating and securing the website, responding to business inquiries, improving services, and protecting legal rights, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligations, including accounting, tax, regulatory, and lawful disclosure requirements.
9. How Information Is Shared
I do not sell or rent the personal information you provide through inquiries, subscriptions, or client work.
Information may be shared only as reasonably necessary with:
- Google, which provides Blogger, Google Forms, email, storage, security, traffic statistics, and Google AdSense. Google may process certain website and advertising data for its own purposes under its privacy policy.
- MailerLite, which provides the embedded signup form, double-opt-in confirmation, subscriber management, email automation, resource delivery, unsubscribe handling, and email delivery or engagement reporting.
- Client-service providers, such as email, cloud storage, scheduling, invoicing, payment, design, project-management, or delivery tools used for an accepted client project. The relevant providers or tools will be identified during onboarding or before client information is added to them when appropriate.
- Professional advisers, such as an accountant, lawyer, or other adviser, where access is reasonably necessary and subject to appropriate duties of confidentiality.
- Authorities or other parties when disclosure is required by law, valid legal process, or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
Public blog comments are shared publicly by their nature. Links and sharing buttons may take you to services such as Pinterest, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, or WhatsApp. Those services process information under their own policies when you interact with them.
10. Retention
I keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described above. The following periods are the intended maximum retention periods unless a longer period is required by law, needed for a legal claim, or requested by you:
- General inquiries and unsuccessful service applications: up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact.
- Email subscribers: while you remain subscribed and for as long as reasonably needed to provide the communications you requested. If you unsubscribe or withdraw consent, I will stop marketing emails and may retain a limited suppression record so your preference can be honored and legal obligations can be met.
- Client project files, operational records, and routine client communications: for the client relationship and up to 3 years after the final service date.
- Contracts, invoices, transaction records, and records supporting tax or bookkeeping obligations: up to 10 years, or longer if applicable law requires.
- Public blog comments: until the comment or relevant post is removed, subject to Blogger's systems and legal retention requirements.
- Website, Blogger, Google Forms, and advertising data held by Google: according to Google's settings and retention practices. I do not control every copy or identifier retained by Google.
- Subscriber, delivery, and email-engagement information held through MailerLite: while my MailerLite account and the relevant subscriber record remain active, subject to deletion requests, unsubscribe handling, MailerLite's settings, and applicable legal or operational requirements.
Information may be deleted sooner when it is no longer needed. Limited residual copies may remain temporarily in backups, security logs, or systems scheduled for routine deletion.
11. International Processing
Pinterest Strategy Lab is operated from Indonesia. Google, MailerLite, and other providers used for website hosting, forms, analytics, advertising, email, storage, or client delivery may process information in countries other than Indonesia or the country where you live. Privacy laws in those countries may differ.
Where required by applicable law, I will use reasonable contractual, organizational, consent-based, or other legally recognized safeguards for cross-border transfers. Google describes its international processing in its privacy materials, and MailerLite describes its processing and safeguards in its Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.
12. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have the right to:
- Ask whether I hold personal information about you and request access or a copy.
- Ask for inaccurate or incomplete information to be corrected.
- Ask for information to be deleted or processing to stop.
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
- Object to or request restriction of certain processing.
- Request portable information where applicable and technically feasible.
- Complain to an appropriate data-protection authority or pursue other remedies available under applicable law.
These rights may be subject to legal exceptions. For example, I may need to keep invoices or transaction records to comply with tax and bookkeeping obligations.
To make a request, email raisuarmini.va@gmail.com. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any such email. I may ask for reasonable information to verify your identity and locate the relevant records. Requests involving information controlled directly by Google or MailerLite may also need to be handled through the relevant provider's privacy controls.
13. Security
I use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. Access is limited to people and providers who need it for the purposes described in this policy. However, no method of transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
14. Children's Privacy
This website and its services are intended for business users and are not directed to children under 16. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact me so I can take appropriate steps.
15. External Links and Third-Party Services
The website may link to or embed third-party websites and services. I am not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review the privacy policy of any third-party service you use.
16. Changes to This Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy when the website, services, providers, or legal requirements change. The revised version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be highlighted on the website when appropriate.
